Veeam Data Cloud

Veeam Data Cloud is an enterprise-grade cloud backup and recovery platform delivered as a fully managed Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS) solution built directly on Microsoft Azure. Designed to eliminate the operational complexity and infrastructure maintenance of self-managed backup servers, it provides automated, cyber-resilient protection for SaaS suites, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise data repositories.

Operating as a turnkey cloud-native SaaS service, it integrates seamlessly with Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams) and Microsoft Azure workloads (Azure Virtual Machines, Azure SQL, Azure Files). It provides automated backup scheduling, infinite cloud storage retention, and air-gapped backup copies isolated completely from production customer tenants. Primary implementation scenarios include protecting Microsoft 365 data against accidental deletion and ransomware encryption, automating snapshot backups for Azure cloud infrastructure, fulfilling long-term regulatory compliance retention mandates, and recovering lost mailbox items or files in seconds.

With its zero-infrastructure architecture, Veeam Data Cloud requires no software installation, patching, or storage sizing, allowing organizations to activate enterprise backup protection in minutes. Security teams benefit from built-in immutability, role-based access control, and end-to-end encryption that prevents unauthorized tampering with backup archives. The platform slashes administrative management overhead, guarantees predictable predictable subscription pricing, and provides dependable cyber resilience for cloud-first enterprises.
