TXOne EdgeIPS

TXOne EdgeIPS is an inline intrusion prevention appliance built specifically for industrial networks. It is placed in front of critical assets or small groups of machines to protect them without changing IP addresses or network architecture, which is important in production environments where downtime is costly.

EdgeIPS performs deep packet inspection of OT protocols and uses a trust list approach so only approved devices, protocols and operations are allowed. Virtual patching signatures, supported by TXOne and Trend Micro threat research, block exploits targeting known vulnerabilities in legacy PLCs, HMIs and operating systems that cannot be patched. The product family includes compact EdgeIPS, EdgeIPS LE and higher-density EdgeIPS Pro models, with hardware bypass to keep production running if a unit fails, and all models can be managed centrally through EdgeOne.

Factories and critical infrastructure operators use EdgeIPS to protect individual production cells, shield unpatched equipment, stop lateral movement of malware and meet IEC 62443 requirements for defense in depth.
