Ubiquiti UniFi Dream Machine (UDM) is an all-in-one enterprise network security gateway, router, managed switch, and UniFi controller designed to deliver high-performance routing and centralized network management for modern commercial environments. Powered by a high-speed multi-core processor, the Dream Machine integrates an advanced enterprise routing engine with full-featured intrusion prevention system (IPS) and intrusion detection system (IDS) capabilities, inspecting network packets at gigabit speeds without choking network throughput. The appliance incorporates deep packet inspection (DPI) to identify application traffic types, enforce bandwidth quotas, and block malicious domains, peer-to-peer applications, or inappropriate web categories across all connected devices.
