SentinelOne Ranger is an innovative, agentless network asset discovery and attack surface management solution integrated directly into the lightweight SentinelOne Singularity endpoint agent. Designed to eliminate network blind spots without requiring specialized hardware appliances, network taps, or SPAN ports, Ranger turns every managed SentinelOne endpoint into a distributed network sensor that passively listens and actively scans corporate network segments to discover, classify, and secure all connected IP devices.

Operating autonomously across enterprise subnets, Ranger instantly identifies unmanaged laptops, mobile phones, servers, virtual machines, IoT devices, smart TVs, printers, and industrial operational technology (OT) equipment connecting to the corporate environment. Key capabilities include passive network traffic analysis, active network discovery scans, automated device fingerprinting and classification, rogue device identification, and one-click remote deployment of the SentinelOne agent to discovered unmanaged computers. When an unmanaged or rogue asset is identified on the subnet, Ranger can automatically enforce network isolation policies to prevent unauthorized communication with managed enterprise workstations.
