About Keeper Secrets Manager
Keeper Secrets Manager (KSM) is a cloud-native, zero-knowledge, zero-trust platform designed to secure and manage machine secrets—such as API keys, database credentials, TLS certificates, cloud tokens, and privileged passwords—across continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, cloud workloads, and automated developer environments. Storing hardcoded secrets in source code repositories, configuration files, and build scripts exposes organizations to automated credential harvesting attacks and devastating infrastructure takeovers. Keeper Secrets Manager eliminates hardcoded secrets by providing a centralized, tamper-proof secrets engine that automatically retrieves, rotates, and injects credentials dynamically at runtime. Built on Keeper’s patented zero-knowledge security architecture, KSM encrypts secrets on the client device using AES-256 before transmitting data to the cloud, guaranteeing that only authorized workloads possess the cryptographic keys needed for decryption. The solution offers native software development kits (SDKs) across major programming languages, plugins for popular DevOps platforms including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes, and command-line interface (CLI) tooling. Security administrators gain granular role-based access controls, IP whitelisting, and real-time audit logging of secret usage. By automating the secret lifecycle, Keeper Secrets Manager eliminates credential sprawl, accelerates secure software delivery, and ensures compliance with enterprise security benchmarks.
