Egress Protect

Egress Protect is a government-certified end-to-end email encryption and secure file transfer platform designed to allow enterprise organizations to share highly sensitive emails, documents, and large file attachments securely with external parties. Offering policy-based and user-selected encryption, Egress Protect ensures data remains protected across untrusted networks.

The solution deploys via Microsoft 365 add-ins, webmail integrations, and secure recipient web portals that allow external recipients to read and reply to encrypted emails without software installation. Core technical capabilities encompass AES-256 bit message and attachment encryption, granular message access revocation (revoking access to sent emails after delivery), message expiration timers, download restrictions, detailed audit logging of who opened files, and automated DLP policy triggers. It allows large file sharing up to multiple gigabytes securely.

Government defense agencies, healthcare providers, and legal enterprises implement Egress Protect to comply with strict statutory confidentiality mandates. The solution integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Outlook, Exchange, and enterprise directory services. Common operational use cases include sending sensitive medical records to patients, sharing confidential M&A transaction documents with external legal counsels, transmitting classified government communications, and maintaining complete forensic audit trails of all sensitive external communications.
