Avigilon Unity

Avigilon Unity by Motorola Solutions is an enterprise video security, access control, and physical security management platform that consolidates AI-powered video surveillance, edge recording hardware, and physical access systems into an intuitive operational suite. Designed to provide security teams with actionable situational awareness across commercial facilities, university campuses, manufacturing plants, and healthcare institutions, Avigilon Unity leverages high-definition video streams and next-generation video analytics to detect anomalies, perimeter breaches, and unusual crowd behaviors. The platform features Avigilon Appearance Search technology, a sophisticated deep learning search engine that allows physical security operators to quickly sort through hours of recorded video to locate a specific person of interest or vehicle across an entire facility based on physical characteristics, clothing color, or license plate data. Facial recognition and license plate recognition (LPR) modules allow automated access triggers, VIP notifications, or immediate alerts when prohibited individuals approach entry gates. Avigilon Unity integrates seamlessly with Unity Access (formerly Access Control Manager), uniting door credentialing, alarm monitoring, and live camera views within a single pane of glass. With end-to-end encrypted video streaming, centralized user role permissions, failover clustering, and mobile client access, Avigilon Unity empowers security personnel to detect incidents faster and coordinate proactive emergency responses.
